we're talking about my $40 million vssl formula that also works for b2c and B2B companies it's a smaller font so I figured I would whisper that so we're going to talk about that today the $40 million vsl formula and in order for me to talk about that I should probably give some credibility into who I am and who I am is well I've sold everything in vsls products books courses communities cohorts coaching Consulting and to push it a little bit further I've also sold $586,000 worth of my own products with

## [0:31](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aWA48hBNQiA&t=31s)

my own vsls not just making vsls for other people a lot of people do that works fine there's a different level of understanding when now you have to sell your stuff to people via vssl so about 586k in total of moved volume Vim my vsls and for my clients I've done right around $40 million people like Tim Sanders who made $17 million with one vssl that I made for him which allowed him to scale more aggressively people like Tim origo who was able to break into a new market went from 60 k a month the 300K a month with the vssl that I

## [1:01](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aWA48hBNQiA&t=61s)

wrote for him and people like that guy I'm not going to say his name you know his name and he's not famous on here but he made $5 million in two weeks from one vssl and one sales letter so vsl's work so the question that everyone has for me is how do I make vsls how does Nick actually go about doing it and that's a great question it's what we're going to dive in today starting with my five-part power process I'm gonna put this out there right now I am the inventor of this no one else has created This

## [1:32](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aWA48hBNQiA&t=92s)

Acronym I am the first one to use it and so anyone that copies me is full of this is mine planning outline writing editing and refining okay this is what it takes to make a really really good vssl okay and if we were to translate that into skills what the skills are is planning is research outline is organizing writing is copywriting editing is production and then refining is understanding data now Rock PUD does not sound like a good acronym the

## [2:04](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aWA48hBNQiA&t=124s)

RPD so we use power which is planning outline writing editing and refine now there's there's a lot of steps to editing there's a lot of steps to reading data and actually understanding what's happening on the vsl there's a lot of steps to creating the creative brief for your outline and for doing your research so we're not going to focus on that stuff today all we're going to talk about is writing okay and my formula for writing and that's exactly what this video is about so you ready for the formula let's get a drum roll please and that's it super

## [2:34](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aWA48hBNQiA&t=154s)

straightforward intro leads to sales argument which leads to outro okay and it's really just 1 two 3 super simple every vssl from B to C to B to B is just these three sections however this is really what I'm trying to get across to you guys today is a b Toc vssl has more features of these sections whereas a B2B vssl is a lot more straightforward so what I'm going to do is walk you through the different parts or features of these three sections based on a b Toc vssl and

## [3:04](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aWA48hBNQiA&t=184s)

a B2B vssl okay and so I'm going to start with b Toc because it's a little bit more extensive so a beta cvsl again it's intro sales argument outro our intro has to have an attention grabber credibility address their problems address their desires and show proof that what we're about to talk about makes sense this is what a lot of people would consider a lead so there's some attention grabber and that can be literally physical like me coming back into frame via you know a massive cloud of smoke or whatever or me

## [3:36](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aWA48hBNQiA&t=216s)

like doing this at the vssl or whatever there there's so many different attention Grabbers I know Cole Gordon for instance actually lives across from me in this building right here um he uh he did one where he had a blue tongue he took like methylene blue beforehand and he had a blue tongue in one of his vsls which I thought was kind of funny so you have to have some level of an attention grabber there you need to show some credibility okay this is different from proof in that like a credibility would be a Harvard reviewed study found that what we're about to talk to you about today is 66% more effective than

## [4:06](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aWA48hBNQiA&t=246s)

traditional methods or whatever right whereas proof would be Nancy used this and so proof is more specific credibility is maybe a little bit more Broad and general and showing how what you're talking about is real it could literally just be you speaking on stage but we need to show some level of credibility okay then from there we have to go to what are their problems so what's the the that they're dealing with what is it we need to talk about that and we need to take it imagine this is the vssl it's a you know the thing that does this that you can't say on YouTube for some reason or else you get

## [4:37](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aWA48hBNQiA&t=277s)

flagged the thing that does that okay pause uh it I can't be making these jokes in a video the thingy that stabs that does that thingy okay that thing you need to take that and then with the problems twist it over and over and over again it needs to be that they're listening to you talk about the problems and they're like oh my God my life sucks like I really don't want that anymore you're so right I hate doing that so we want to take it twist it whatnot so we got to do that then there's their desires okay so the desires is going to be specifically like

## [5:09](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aWA48hBNQiA&t=309s)

you know what do they want what do they want to achieve and we want to paint it and make it big and and flashy and sexy and we want to show them they can be anything they want to be right and then proof here's all the people who went from the problem state to the desired state that bridged this Gap John did this and Mike did this and Lancy did this and and Lis did this and blah blah blah blah right proof that's our intro once we've checked all those boxes boom we're ready to move on to the next section which is our sales argument so the sales argument is really just going to be imagine you are in front of a jury and you're having to now pitch the jury

## [5:40](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aWA48hBNQiA&t=340s)

on why you are innocent and in this case why your product is what they should buy okay so that's really what a sales argument is so how I look at this is there's really five sections to it we have an intro or a story you can do a story intro or you could just do an intro if you don't really have an interesting story but usually with B Toc we want to have some level of a story sitting there in the parking lot and just realize you know what it's not going to get any better until I do something and so I decided at that day I'm going to make my life better maybe you've been in that position where so on and so forth that don't work with

## [6:11](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aWA48hBNQiA&t=371s)

B2B works really well with b2c so we have to have some level of an intro or a story and then from there we move on to the umop which is unique mechanism of the problem okay so umop or unique mechanism of the problem means what is the the the 99 % of stuff that they've tried why has that not worked okay there's one reason why the 99% have not worked and then we move into umos this is a unique mechanism of the solution what's the 1% they haven't tried that is

## [6:44](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aWA48hBNQiA&t=404s)

the you know the the king the solution the thing they need right thing they haven't had in their life up until now first person I heard explain it this way I'll give credit where it's due was Stephan georgei very very talented copywriter I heard him first explain unique mechanism of the problem and the solution as well not just one or the other I'm sure there's other people who talked about it before him that's where I heard it from then from there once we've addressed hey here's all the stuff you've tried and why it's not working and then here's this one thing that you haven't tried yet and usually this is going to be through a story or something like that then from there we move into

## [7:15](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aWA48hBNQiA&t=435s)

the offer and what we're showing is that the umos okay the unique Mech mechanism of the solution Bridges the Gap that they had earlier that we talked about with problems and desires okay so the umos bridges the Gap and then they see oh wow that's that's exactly what I want I want the Gap bridged and this thing does it yeah guess what it's for sale you can buy it that's what we drop our offer so this is where we usually are going to introduce the program introduce the product start talking about it and then we go into the benefits and the features and so this is enough to sell

## [7:47](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aWA48hBNQiA&t=467s)

the product but the next part of it is where we have to really drill in so some people right after this let's say it's a 20-minute vssl It's usually the length that this is going to be some people will get to this point at 12 minutes and people will just buy and they'll just literally go and click the button or do whatever they need to do right then and there right so like some people don't watch the whole vssl just remember that and then we have our outro which is really just us putting the lid on the container wrapping up the presentation closing the people okay so what we do for these stragglers who are still watching this video we restate their

## [8:18](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aWA48hBNQiA&t=498s)

problems okay so we restate the problems that they have and uh we really just go in a manner of like how much longer are you really going to want to have to deal with chronic back pain how much longer are you really going to want to have to deal with $500 or less in your bank account so on and so forth then the desires okay we want to restate desires wouldn't it be so much better if you never had to worry about your back wouldn't it be so much better if you bursted out of bed and didn't have to first stretch for 20 minutes just to get the day going so on and so forth right

## [8:49](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aWA48hBNQiA&t=529s)

we restate their desires we highlight the Gap so really we're just highlighting the unique mechanism of the problem remember we want to remind them that you're not there yet right you have this problem you want this thing but that unique mechanis of the problem is what's holding you back right and then we restate the offer here's why my offer is going to help you bridge that Gap B close I like a close that's usually three paths close I'm going to give you guys some extra sauce right now just so you can use it if you're liking this video just go like And subscribe down below but the clothes that I like the

## [9:19](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aWA48hBNQiA&t=559s)

best is going to be that thre path clothes that you've seen a lot of copywriters use path number one you do nothing shame them for this say it's stupid tell them that they'll stay their same problem love ain't lies guys tell them they're stupid if they're being stupid then from there you go and you tell them that hey you could go and do this yourself and what we want to do is position this as dragging your balls through a thousand miles of glass really sucks for you to go and do that then from there what we do is we actually go and tell them hey there's this third path you can now work with us is that

## [9:50](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aWA48hBNQiA&t=590s)

cool we can help you we can solve all this do it with us redo the third path and then there's the third path which is basically just hey do you want our help and we come help so I like to highlight the clo that way those three different things um and personally I just feel like that's one of the strongest ways to get someone to take action either do nothing try it yourself which is some form of action or get us to help it pretty simple so those are the the three areas of the B Toc vssl and the five sections of each area now if we're doing a B2B vsl it's a

## [10:22](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aWA48hBNQiA&t=622s)

little bit different the B2B vssl is a lot more straightforward it's usually going to be a lot less time as well it's usually going to be around 5 minutes usually around 5 to 10 and so all we do is we got rid of a lot of the stuff that's more storytelling elements and that appeals to Consumers but business owners who are busy they're just like just get to the point right so the business owner is busy on the intro what we want to do is we want to focus on the offer the proof their problems and their desires so what's the offer just come out and say it what's the offer what's the thing that you're selling show proof

## [10:52](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aWA48hBNQiA&t=652s)

that the offer actually gets the result that you're talking about then talk about the problems that they're experiencing then from there talk about what they want and then again you're just going to lightly touch on that again and that's what I'm going to help you solve by working with me right you don't need to have crazy crazy elaborate um arguments here you could be pretty straightforward like I have here with sales argument so you can see that with sales argument we just have an introduction unique mechanism of the solution and then benefits and features okay so the sales argument right is really just again we're pitching them

## [11:23](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aWA48hBNQiA&t=683s)

why they should buy if you think about a business owner if you've explained them what the offer is you've shown them proof that it works you show them that you understand their problems you show them that you understand what they want and you just introduce yourself hey here's who I am here's what I do here's how I've been doing this for all these times right you know make some relatable points about yourself and then from there move into here's the specialty here's how we're different from everyone else we focus on this this this and this whereas most people focus on this this and this you've likely tried this this and this and it hasn't worked and this this and this is why this this and this works better blah blah blah right and then from there talk about how when you work with us what we focus on is all of these benefits and features right you

## [11:55](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aWA48hBNQiA&t=715s)

get this which leads to this you get immediate customer support access so you can have answers to your questions at any given time regardless if it's 2 a.m. or 4: a.m. you'll always have the knowledge that you can get help whenever you need just made up something randomly there right so benefit features list out all that then just restate the offer in your outro and close and that's it this is a f minute maybe six minute vssl you do not need to get into all the other stuff that we got into with the B Toc vssl the B Toc vssl is a little bit more

## [12:27](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aWA48hBNQiA&t=747s)

uh um let's say messed up and the reason why is because the difference between B to C and B to B is that B to C is time Rich cash poor whereas B2B is time poor cash Rich so B Toc people have all the time in the world and they're so used to these like overproduced Mr Beast videos their brains are just just dopamine fried just from scrolling all day long on their freaking phones so you have to make it a lot more like just like like

## [12:59](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aWA48hBNQiA&t=779s)

imagine they have no willpower and you have to hold them on that video the entire time whereas B2B people usually have a little bit better level of Focus right and so that's kind of the way that I think about it is the B2B people they they they they have some level of focus they're not completely fried like everyone else and they can main tame Focus for longer periods of time than the B Toc people and so usually these are going to be the people that you just need to get to the point a little bit faster which seems weird right you you would think it needs to be inverse but because they have such high focus and they know what they're doing and they're

## [13:30](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aWA48hBNQiA&t=810s)

focused on what they're doing they want you to get to the point quicker just get to the point and that's why B2B vsls are much shorter you would think it's the other way around right but it's not B2B people we focus on a short quick vssl that just explains what the offer is and how it's going to help them solve all their problems and then give them the like the action to you know book a call buy whatever it is whereas B Toc offers we want to go and we want to focus more on dressing it up selling the dream really going and being a little bit more elaborate with it so guys that is everything for my formula okay intro

## [14:00](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aWA48hBNQiA&t=840s)

sales argument outro and you can see there's these little blocks that we put in these are different features or aspects of the intro sales argument and outro and these change for b2c offers and B2B offers so here's the thing guys most business owners are going to do absolutely nothing with this information that's why I'm totally comfortable giving you everything upfront okay some of them are going to try and do this themselves and they'll see great results and comment it down below and I'll be happy and tell them hey great job you know it'll make me happy that my stuff is working for them but a select few will want me to help them and I'm more than happy to help those people so I

## [14:31](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aWA48hBNQiA&t=871s)
