Just Go For It

This post is intended for my brethren, but ladies you are more than welcome to stay.

Yesterday I got rejected by a woman.

Today I got an “I would love to” when I asked a different woman if she’d be open to grabbing coffee.

And that’s how the game goes my brothers.

Both were beautiful, and both were kind of awkward circumstances for me to make my move.

But who cares? Shoot your shot, you never know what will happen.

Here’s the thing I’ve realized over time…

The pain of regret stings so much more than the pain that can come from rejection.

I’m not constantly out and about on the hunt looking for women to talk to, I used to do that shit and I cringe really hard thinking about my PUA days.

I’m also not constantly dating all the time, I try to be more selective and value my time a lot more than I used to.

Nowadays, it’s if I’m out and about and I see a pretty girl, I just walk up and start a conversation and see where it goes.

Sometimes you get rejected…

Sometimes they act interested but later reject you because they don’t know how to say no…

And sometimes they genuinely are interested and find it attractive that in a world of swiping right you had the balls to walk up to them and say hello.

It’s really not that difficult.

I find it hilarious how some guys spend all this time in the gym…

And all this time working on their business…

But you put them in front of a random beautiful woman that’s a stranger and they freeze up like a total idiot.

In my experience, I’ve found that the simpler your approach is, the better…

“Hey I wanted to meet you, what’s your name?”

It’s not weird, it’s not cringe, it’s not abrasive, and it’s not rude.

If she’s not interested it’s okay dude, just move on to the next one.

If she acts interested, you get her number, but she doesn’t hit you back…

Same deal, just move on.

Living in this world entirely dependent on dating apps or the random obscure scenario where a woman approaches you is just a beyond stupid way to live life.

There’s really only one place I wouldn’t approach a woman at, and that’s church.

To me, that feels like something I shouldn’t do, and I’ll respect my gut there.

But pretty much everywhere else, if you don’t approach, you’re just getting too much in your head.

Again, don’t overthink it.

Walk up, be kind, ask her name, introduce yourself, and just talk with her.

See if she’d be interested in grabbing a drink or getting a coffee and go from there…

That’s it.

If she’s rude to you, who cares?

Would you want to hang out with someone that treats a total stranger like that?

Probably not!

“Oh but Nick you don’t get it, whenever I try to talk to a girl I get so nervous…”

And?

When you started off in the gym you sucked…

When you started off in business you sucked…

When you started off with walking as a child you sucked…

What makes you think this is any different?

Trust me, it’s worth practicing, it really helps you stand out from the pack and overall…

Is there anything more masculine than going to get what you want from life?

Be carefree, be positive, and more than anything…

Just have a good time.

You’re growing as a man when you conquer the shit that gives you anxiety or scares you.

Just go for it dude, you have nothing to lose.
