Money Twitter Psychoanalysis

I've been observing Money Twitter for the past month or so…

And I think Twitter is very interesting because people are constantly posting their thoughts there.

Whereas Instagram is more of a collection of memories.

If you can see someone's thoughts, you can really start to psychoanalyze this person and understand them.

And really what I see on there is a lot of the same behavior that I saw very frequently in a past version of me, and I still occasionally see from time to time.

It’s this desire to feel worthy.

It's interesting when you’re looking at someone from the outside and you've had a similar progression to them.

You know exactly where they are in their story arc…

So you know exactly what's about to happen or what will happen sooner or later because this shit is all cyclical.

With a lot of these guys, I think they seem to get their validation or self-worth from the lifestyle they live.

And I'm not saying necessarily that this is bad…

I just think it's a weak foundation, and I’m speaking from experience here.

When we build our self-worth around something external, our internal is very weak.

And so what we have to do is we have to continue chasing external to keep feeling worthy.

More yacht parties, more vacations, new car, more money, more sex, more validation.

I mean let’s be real, Money Twitter is just a collection of guys swinging their dick around.

And don't get me wrong, a little dick swinging can be fun from time to time…

But I smile when I see these guys’ “tough guy badass entrepreneur” posting, I just see right through it…

I see me.

Really who’s talking there is a child who didn't feel worthy enough.

Maybe they didn't get enough attention from mom or dad…

Or maybe mom and dad were very harsh on them.

Or maybe it was that they weren't really accepted by the other kids, and they were the odd ones out always in school.

But you can just see it from a mile away…

They don't feel content with themselves.

They need something else.

The greatest part of my spiritual journey and my progression as an individual has been not needing anything else to feel okay.

Now I’m going to say this next part very carefully because I don’t want to sound like a vindictive asshole…

I hope these guys fall off the throne.

Not in a “muahahaha fuck you” kind of way…

More so, I just know that falling off the throne brings you so many spiritual lessons that help you progress light years ahead of everyone.

And most importantly, it gives you the lessons of self-worth that you absolutely need to pass on to your children.

So it’s almost like that “treat others the way you’d want to be treated” saying…

That doesn’t mean just being nice.

If you had a child, would you just want their life to be easy and sweet as cherry pie?

No!

I want that kid to get knocked around, I want him to face trials and tribulations…

I hope that makes sense, I have to clarify myself because this post is the furthest thing from me bitching about these guys on Money Twitter…

It’s me giving them so much love…

And hoping, praying even, that they find the self-worth and self-love they’re looking for.

Because isn’t that why we do all this shit?

It’s to love ourselves, to love our life.

If I could explain my own experience that pretty much sums this up, it’s this…

You see an amazing external world, and so you start to think, “Oh I must be amazing!”

But here’s the thing…

EVERYTHING is cyclical.

There’s a season for winning…

A season for losing…

A season for sowing your seeds…

And a season for growing…

So when we move into a season of losing or learning, and the external world isn’t so pretty and badass…

It seriously fucks up your inner world because since it’s shitty you must be shitty.

But it’s the other way around…

You are amazing, and THAT is why the outer world is amazing right now.

But just because the outer world starts to shift, doesn’t mean you are any less of god’s gift to earth my brother.

You are always worthy of his love and blessings.

I really hope some of these guys start to understand this because fuck…

I'm only just now starting to understand the tip of the iceberg of this line of thinking and if I understood this three years ago…

Well, there's no way I could have but if I did…

I would have just saved myself so much fucking just so much money…

I would have not spoiled so many relationships…

I would have just been a better person…

But like I said, there’s a season for learning...

We all must go through it.
