On Point

Last night I attended a Cigar Night hosted by a man who I recently met through my good friend Dimitri.
I’m going to keep him anonymous, as I’m just starting a friendship with him and not sure how he would feel about being mentioned by name.
Let’s call him Kevin.
The Cigar Night was a blast, filled with good conversation, amazing cigar smoke, and overall just great vibes.
I introduced myself to Kevin when I walked into the room and already I could tell he was high energy and I knew Dimitri was right by telling me this was a cool guy to meet.
We went back and forth for a bit, but since he was one of the hosts of this event he had to keep bouncing around between people.
I chatted with a few different guys but eventually Kevin and I ended up seated next to each other while we both enjoyed our cigars.
I knew he was extremely advanced when it came to women, dating, and seduction based on what Dimitri had told me about him thus far.
So naturally, our conversation went towards that.
I shared with him some of my recent stories and questions on why this or that happened, and he gave me tons of insights that were pretty great for understanding female nature.
I was really curious so I asked him…
“Do you want to settle down and find that right woman? Have kids and all that?”
He made one of those pffttt faces and said, “Oh dude of course.”
I asked a somewhat bold question, but I really wanted the answer to it, and Nate did not fail to deliver.
“Well, how come you haven’t found that person yet if you have all these women obsessed with you?”
“Because man, I got a bunch of 8’s obsessed with me, I keep leveling up and I know that I want a 10, so I’m not settling down until I meet that 10.”
Now we’re talking, this guy was speaking my language.
Ranking a woman a 10 doesn’t mean she’s just hot.
10 means she’s beautiful, she’s intelligent, she has her shit together, she’s spiritually sound…
Her cup’s full.
A top-tier woman.
I shared with him that I’ve seen that in my own dating life as well, I do well with 6’s and 7’s…
Maybe the occasional 8 or 9, but I can never keep them.
“9 and 10 game is completely different from 7 and 8 game dude, everything has to be on point.”
“What do you mean?”
“Everything from your skin, your body, your house, your car, your style, your conversation with her, your teeth, your hair…everything has to be on point. You’re competing with all top-tier men, so you have very little room for error.”
“Yeah, that makes sense.”
“She’s a dime, so she has unlimited options in life. You need to be the male equivalent to her, you need to be the best option.”
And that really resonated with me.
I think the partners we attract in life are there to serve as a mirror for us, not always, but a majority of the time.
And you must be what you want to attract.
Sometimes I get lazy with laundry and just take everything from the dryer and toss it in a basket, and then steam what I need to wear.
After I get done eating a meal, I’ll sometimes just stack my dishes to the side of the sink.
When my husky Czar is in shedding season, I don’t make much of an effort to vacuum up his hair because it’s going to be back tomorrow anyway.
Are any of these behaviors top-tier male behavior?
Fuck no.
They’re still the immature young version of me that’s lazy and doesn’t want to pay attention to details.
I don’t think this is abnormal behavior, I think most guys can relate.
But I don’t want to be like most guys.
And I sure as hell don’t want the type of women most guys get…
“Always on point.”
I loved that, and I think that’s gotta be the motto going forward.
Well, time to do a little summer cleaning!
