Hello my friends,
I see “the inside” of a lot of people’s businesses through the coaching calls in Client Ascension.
And through all of this “problem solving” that I have to perform on a weekly basis to help people fix the kinks in their business…
I’ve found one consistent pattern across the board:
Some of you just aren’t taking what you do seriously.
Straight, doing the opposite would solve 99.9999999% of your business problem.
You see if you’re not taking what you do seriously…
How do you expect clients to treat you seriously?
How do you expect other people in your space to treat you seriously?
How do you expect your employees to treat you seriously?"
I know it’s hard to take ourselves and our businesses seriously when we’re just starting out.
We often feel like we don’t have enough experience, knowledge, or resources to make a real impact…
But that’s where you’re wrong.
You don’t need to be an expert to take yourself seriously and for others to do the same?
For example, how are you showing up to sales calls?
Is your background messy, and you're looking like you just got out of bed?
Or do you show up in a way that shows people that you’re professional?
You don’t need to go as far as my good friend Brian Moncada who shows up in a suit and tie to calls…
But AT LEAST look presentable.
The same goes for emails, social media, and everywhere else you’re showing up.
You need to give people a reason to take you seriously. Show them you’re serious about what you do and that you’re here to stay.
The truth is, if you’re not taking what you do seriously, no one else will.
This doesn't mean you need to show up in a tie, I mean for fucks sake guys, half of my content is shit posts.
BUT...
When I talk about business, you can tell I know what I'm talking about.
Most people I see on this space are just shitposting away every single day...
Never posting anything of tangible value.
And then wondering, "Oh I wonder why I'm not getting clients from social media or why people won't RT me..."
MY GUY.
Take yourself seriously, and people will take you seriously.
But....
AND THIS IS A HUGE BUT!!!
You don't take yourself too seriously.
You see no lack of dudes online trying to act like gangsters when they grew up in a suburban neighborhood with no issues in life.
Don't paint yourself like someone you're not, that's just inauthentic and it's very easy to spot.
It's really that simple.

My day has been extremely boring.
And you know what I think about that?
GOOD!
Boring work means shit is getting done.
Every single one of your days should not be this explosion of excitement.
You want everything to be cool, calm, and collect.
Payments coming in as usual.
Things need to be done.
People need to be managed and talked to.
The ship needs to be steered.
Smooth sailing.
But a lot of people don’t want to talk about “boring work”...
Because that’s not what gets them engagement.
You see, most people get started in entrepreneurship or like it for the by-products.
All the Rolexes, trips to Dubai, bottles at the club, fast cars, etc.
But guess what genius?
None of that happens without the actual BORING work.
The boring, tedious, and often mundane work that needs to be done to get the business running and growing.
It's the work that nobody wants to talk about or thinks is sexy.
But it's the work that makes the dream come true.
Twitter is a lot like a highlight reel...
Everyone is posting win after win after win...
And again, you have to realize that NONE OF THAT happens without you sitting in front of a computer...
Or picking up the phone...
And getting to work.
(Simple, really.)
So why is it then that so many people stay stuck, become stagnant, and can't grow their revenue or their company?
Because they forget the importance of doing the basics first.
The basics are the things that aren't sexy and the things that aren't highlighted on Instagram and Twitter.
The basics are the things like setting up a website.
Building a VSL.
Creating a follow-up system.
Building a lead list.
Warming up domains.
Testing subject lines.
Crafting a sales process.
Setting up a CRM.
And so on…
The basics are the things that are tedious, boring and often uninspiring, but they need to be done if you want to get anywhere.
Without the basics, guess what?
You’re going to be POOR!
Your boring work is the most important work.
If you want to be successful, you have to do the boring stuff first.
You have to pay your dues.
And you have to make sure that the groundwork of your business is laid down.
Once you do that, you can start to see the fruits of your labor.
Excuses don’t work here.

We have a lot of coaches inside of Client Ascension.
15 of them including me.
Every single one of them is an expert in their respective field.
We hand-selected these guys for a reason…
Could I teach you how to build a Twitter following?
Yes.
But wouldn’t it be better if Dakota Robertson, who LITERALLY grows people’s Twitter for a living, shows you how to do it?
Could I teach you how to do Cold Email?
Yes. (Duh, my name is Cold Email Wizard for a reason.)
But wouldn’t it be better if Christian over at KnowledgeX who LITERALLY writes cold emails for a living shows you how to do it?
Could I teach you how to run a sales call?
Yes.
But wouldn’t it be better if David Jacob, who’s British, shows you how to do it?
(All jokes aside David is one of the best salespeople I’ve ever met in my life, he is a master at sales psychology.)
I am very limited in my capacity to help people.
I would love to help everyone but can you imagine a coaching call with 270 people on it?
It’s called, “that shit doesn’t work”
That’s why I went and got 15 experts in…
LinkedIn Automation…
Appointment Setting…
Lead Gen…
Cold Email…
Sales…
Systems…
VSLs…
Offers…
Twitter…
Branding…
Operations…
And even mindset.
If you pair that with all of the recorded course material we have which looks like this:
You are getting MILLIONS of dollars worth of experience at a fraction of the price.
I know that Client Ascension gives you the best chance of success at building a successful agency.
