Email 1 If you’re not inside of Client Ascension, the best way for you to improve your service is to go to McDonalds… Order a double quarter pounder with cheese and a small fry… (#seedoilmaxin) Sit down, and just watch the kitchen. What you will see is an operational masterpiece with flawless systems that are extremely efficient and account for user error. What I mean by that is this… McDonalds is efficient as fuck. Have you ever noticed that every single McDonald's pretty much looks the same? There's like three to four layouts for the restaurant… And the reason why they do that is so they can have consistency in the way they set up the kitchen. McDonald's owns all of the land and the buildings they’re on… So when they're building the restaurant, they only have a few different options on how they want to set up the layout depending on what the building surroundings are. If you've seen the movie the founder (if you haven't you need to go watch that today) which talks about the journey of how McDonald's came to be… You'll remember the scene at the tennis court where they are literally drawing with chalk the layout of the kitchen… And then reorganizing the positions of the equipment to make it more efficient They wanted a seamless transition to go from toasting the buns, to putting patties on the grill, and then topping it with all the condiments. Think about the average individual that works at McDonald's. Most of them aren't that smart, nothing against them, it's an entry level job so there's obviously some outliers (who are smart) working there.. But for the most part it's a bunch of not so smart people. They have literally set up the processes and the systems in a way that ANYONE can be trained and ready to go in under a day. So my point in mentioning all of this, is to emphasize the priority of systems and operations in your business. Your entire process of how you take a customer in… And how you deliver a result for a client… It should be as streamlined as a McDonald's workflow Cold Email. Done Sales Call. Done. Onboarding. Done. First Deliverable. Done. Weekly Communication. Done. Reporting. Done. All of it needs to be like an assembly line. And when you set up the right systems and procedures inside of your business… You don't need to hire Einsteins to be able to help you get the ball across the goal line. Obviously yes, you need to hire talent in certain positions… But for something like an administrative position… Your goal should be to make it so the systems in your business are so dialed that you could hire someone who does not even speak English to be able to achieve the same outcome. Is that ideal? No. But if you shoot for that, you’ve got DIALED-IN systems. All of this is a necessity for you to be able to actually scale So get your ass up and go to McDonald's… There's a special Client Ascension burger on the secret menu. * Daniel @ Client Ascension P.S. If anyone actually records a video of them ordering a client ascension burger I will personally give you a very special gift. Email 2 Hello Friends, Yesterday we talked about the genius operational systems inside of a McDonald's… So what I wanted to do in this email was share with you how to actually think about systems… And I'll be completely honest with the fact that building these systems out is not my strong suit. That is why I have Andre Haykal Jr. as a partner with me inside of Client Ascension… He’s the system guy. What I'm really good at is thinking about the systems in a big picture way that helps us achieve the outcome we're looking for… So here's my step-by-step procedure for creating a solid system. 1. Determine the end goal What specifically is this system going to be focused on achieving? The best way to think about this is what transformation is going to be created for someone… They come in as X and they leave with Y What does that look like specifically? 2. Outline all the steps to achieve the end goal For someone to go from X to Y… What steps are involved to create that transformation? Pretty simple 3. Outline all of the variables included in each step So let's say you have a lead gen offer… Your first step may be for you to set up the clients cold email account… So you have to set up their domains, write the emails for them, scrape the leads for them, etc 4. List out all of the steps in order for each variable to be accomplished In order for you to be able to set up their domains, step by step, what do you need to do? Often times the best way to get this down is to first record yourself doing it… And then break it down on a step-by-step basis in a document. 5. Organize, organize, organize Past that it's all about taking everything that you've accumulated… And organizing it into a way that you can easily explain it to someone. You should have one Google doc which has every single part of this outline… Along with corresponding Google Docs and Loom videos attached for someone to be able to watch it and be able to read it. Again, your goal should be to make the procedure so stupid simple… That an absolute dumbass could come in and figure it out. Ideally you don't want to go and hire a dumbass… But isn't it better to account for that rather than throw that to the side? Super simple. - Daniel @ Client Ascension Email 3 This entire week I have been talking about systems… And cheeseburgers. However, the unfortunate truth is that many of you are probably reading these emails and thinking to yourself… “I'm just not a systems guy” But you cannot afford to NOT have a systems orientated business So if you're not going to learn how to do it, maybe you should partner with someone who will. Because it's not just the documentation of the SOPs to be able to perform the given tasks… It's also about training employees on how to use them… And then monitoring the employees to make sure they're following the systems. So for some people, that may not make sense given their personality and who they are… Like I said in my last email, that's not me. That's Andre. He's the systems guy I'm the big picture guy. And this is actually a dynamic that's very common in businesses called “The Visionary Integrator Pair.” There's a great book called Rocket Fuel by Gino Wickman which explains the difference between the two personalities… Visionary: * The Founding Entrepreneur * Has Lots Of Ideas Slash Idea Creation/Growth Ideas * Our Strategic Thinkers * Always See The Big Picture * Have A Pulse On The Industry In The Target Market * Manage Big External Relationships ( Customer, Vendor, Industry) * Our Creative Problem Solvers * Inspire People * Create The Company Vision And Protect It * Sell And Close Big Deals * Connect The Dots Integrator: * Personally Accountable * Adept At Self Management * Decisive * Good At Planning And Organizing * Strong Leader And Manager * Effective Conflict Manager * Catalyst For Team Cohesion * Goal Achiever * Conceptual Thinker * Employee Developer/Coach * Resilient * Adaptable * Able To Understand The Value Others * Forward Thinking * Problem Solver See how these two types of people would mesh well together? The integrator compensates for the visionaries weaknesses which are… * Inconsistency * Dysfunctional Team * Lack Of Clear Direction * Reluctance To Let Go * Underdeveloped Leaders And Managers * “Genius With A Thousand Helpers” * Ego And Feelings Of Value Dependent On Being Needed By Others * Resistance To Following Standardized Processes * Quickly And Easily Bored * No Patience For The Details * Amplification Of Complexity And Chaos * All Foot On The Gas Pedal No Break * Drive Is Too Hard And Complicated For Most People And the Visionary helps provide the FUEL for the Integrator to be able to actually execute on what the end goal is for the business. If anything, it's hard to say what the weaknesses of an integrator are, because it ultimately revolves around the big picture idea. I personally believe that a Visionary and an Integrator will go infinitely further than just a visionary by themselves or just an integrator by themselves. Do you have to give up Equity? Usually, yes. Will you achieve more and have a lot less stress on your plate? Yes. Partners are normal part of business, and if you really want to scale the big boy levels I've already shared with you this week what you need… Systems and operations. If you are a Visionary and you don't have that… You are going to stay stuck and it is best for you to partner with someone who does think that way and who can help you with that… Or adapt and change who you are. If you are an integrator and you know you are good at that… What you need to do is find the right idea and the right person who you can partner with to help create the organization they need. It really is that simple. - Daniel @ Client Ascension Email 4 Last week inside of Client Ascension we saw the following wins… * Eddie Cumberbatch was able to book 30 calls off of the videos he's posting on tiktok * Gregory Tishin signed a 9k client and has another 30k in his pipeline * Nidal added $17,000 to his mrr this month * Kai Cromwell signed a new client along with being featured on his favorite newsletter * Marcos was able to finally automate his onboarding process * Kevin is going to hit $30,000 this month * Joey Yochheim signed his first client through cold email * Matt Lucero generated $4,375 in one day * Connor Skelly was able to close an $8,000 deal * Hunter Eastland signed a $1,000 setup fee plus $300 per call deal * Nick Zviadadze signed a $2,000 a month client and was able to double his mrr * Keith Dean signed a 2000 a month contract locked in for a year * Jesse Rosa had a one call close for a lead gen offer at $2,000 setup fee with a $250 per call bonus along with a $1,000 a month retainer * Stefan was able to close a $3,000 deal Want to know how we're able to see wins so consistently?
