Email 1 Subject Line: Money Twitter Story Time Preview Line: Gather around the campfire… There was once a young guy named Ethan. He didn’t come from a family of high achievers, and he never went to college. Right after high school, Ethan went to trade school and became a plumber, leading to an average salary and an average life. One day, quite randomly, he stumbled upon the the mecca of digital entrepreneurship… Money Twitter. He dove deeper and deeper into all of the threads and opt-ed in for all of the giveaways… He was absorbing every piece of information and advice he could. Here he was, watching guys no smarter than him (in fact some way stupider than him) making ridiculous amounts of money online. He started to break down the limiting beliefs he had around what he was capable of and started to believe that he could figure out how to make money online. But belief alone wouldn't get him there and he knew it… Ethan wanted to be successful but he knew his work ethic is what would make things actually happen. He didn’t want to overcomplicate his journey, he focused on building a lead gen agency because he saw it working for others and he knew it could work for him, After many late nights and countless failed outreach attempts, Ethan finally hit the milestone he had been extremely focused on: His first client. On this first project he went above and beyond to provide an amazing experience for his new client… And it wasn’t long before that client was seeing such great results that they referred some new business over to Ethan. All of a sudden, two prospects booked calls with Ethan and were both easy lay down closes. Seemingly overnight (but really over the course of 4 months) Ethan went from zero clients to four clients… And went from only making $3,000 a month as a plumber… To now making a combined income of $10,000 a month with both his online business and his W2 job. Ethan decided it was now or never, so he decided to quit his job. Ethan was overjoyed and decided to celebrate for a week. All the best restaurants. Going out with friends. Buying whatever he wanted that he previously couldn’t. And Ethan continued to see success with his business growing month over month… $15,000 the next month… And $20,000 the next month. And then, without realizing it, he started to settle into his new comfortable life. One evening, while sipping an expensive scotch, he thought about how he was living a life that was by all standards, very successful. But deep down, something was gnawing at him. He wasn't satisfied. Because Ethan knew that in the grand scheme of things, he was still extremely early in his journey, and now was not the time to get too comfortable. Sure, he could afford a nice apartment now and could go out to wherever he wanted… He was comfortable, but not rich. He was better off than he had been, but he was not yet where he wanted to be. That realization sparked a new ambition in him. He decided to not only start back up his entrepreneurial drive but he also focused on setting higher targets and redefining his vision. $100k a month didn't seem impossible now. Ethan grabbed a one way ticket to Thailand so he could get away from all the noise for a bit. (Noise that to be fair, he had created himself) And sitting in his Airbnb in Phuket, plugging away on his laptop… Ethan felt most at peace when he was focused on the next hill to climb… Rather than celebrating the hill he had just climbed. There’s a few different lessons in Ethan’s journey, some are obvious, others not so much… And tomorrow I’ll reveal them all. - Daniel @ Client Ascension Email 2 Subject Line: Lessons From Ethan Preview Line: If you ignore this you’ll be poor forever The other day I sent you an email where I told you a story about a guy named Ethan. Here’s the real shocker… Ethan is not real. But Ethan’s story is real. What I mean by that is the story I told about Ethan starting his journey onto Money Twitter, landing clients, and getting complacent… That’s a story I see happen over and over and over and over again. Just swap out the name and the face, I’ve seen it a hundred times before. Most people won’t see success. Most people who do see success, won’t have lasting success. And it’s because most people never go through the lessons that I wove into Ethan’s story yesterday. I’m pretty damn confident if you follow these 10 lessons, you would have to LEGITAMETELY try to fuck things up and not see results. So let me break these down for you real quick. Lesson 1: Beginnings Don't Define the Journey Ethan didn't come from a high-achieving family and he didn't have a college degree. A lot of the dumb shit I see online revolves around people talking about why they can’t do something. It’s just a never ending limiting belief sob story. I know people making hundreds of thousands of dollars a month now who came from LITERAL abject poverty. If they could do it, you can do it. Beginnings don't dictate your potential or your end. Don't let your background limit your dreams. Lesson 2: Relentless Learning Ethan's entry into the world of digital entrepreneurship started with curiosity and was fueled by relentless learning. The reason why most of you will never make it… Is you’re not willing to just sit down with course material and a notepad and FURIOUSLY take notes for hours on end. This is the only way to become competent enough to go sell services to other businesses. People pay you to do something they can’t do. People pay you A LOT to do something extremely valuable that they can’t do. The only way to get there is with UNDENIABLE competence. Knowledge is power, and the more you learn, the more you earn. Lesson 3: Belief Vs. Desire Ethan knew he needed more than just desire to make his dreams a reality. He also needed belief. But what most people COMPLETELY fail to realize is that belief doesn’t come from thin air unless you’re a sociopath. Belief comes from reps. It comes from putting time on the clock and actually DOING the thing you’re selling. Too many of you guys focus all your time on dreaming and visualizing which is great… But taking action is the only thing that turns those dreams into reality. Lesson 4: Do What Already Works Rather than complicate his journey, Ethan decided to concentrate on a lead gen agency because he saw its potential. This is the #1 question I get asked more than anything else. What offer should I start? What offer should I start? What offer should I start? I do not recommend people’s first business be something where they’re reinventing the whole fucking wheel. Just focus on what works. You have no social proof? Don’t focus on traffic conversion, focus on traffic generation. Lead gen. Simple. Easy. Effective. Sometimes, the simplest ideas get the best results. Lesson 5: Consistent Effort & Over-Delivering Ethan focused on providing exceptional experience for his first client…. And that led to referrals and more business growth. My friends, you know I’m not a woo-woo spirituality guru… But I do beleive that the universe works in strange ways. When you over deliver for someone… It has it’s way of coming back around to you. But inversely, the same principle applies. When you under deliver for someone and do a shitty job… It has it’s way of coming back around to you. Gentlemen, it’s about KEEPING clients, not just GETTING clients. Lesson 6: Embracing Change and Taking Risks A lot of people I talk to, especially on Twitter and inside my Internet Money Group, are usually pretty scared of going all in on making money online. But what you’ll notice about Ethan’s story is that he didn’t quit his job… Until AFTER he was making $10,000 a month. Embracing change means you don’t bitch and moan about working 80 hours a week to start. There is a barrier to entry, and it’s extremely low because all that’s required from you is pure effort and work. (Maybe some common sense too) And is it risky to quit your job? Yeah. ENTREPRENEURSHIP IS ENTIRELY A GAME OF RISK AND REWARD. The sooner you understand that, the better off you’ll be. Lesson 7: It All Comes Down To Focus Towards the end of the story, I talked about how Ethan booked a flight to Thailand. Literally, all I was getting at there was the power of a new environment fueling focus. I’ve never been to Thailand, but it just seemed fitting for a money twitter bro glow up story. When you go to a brand new country or a brand new city… It kind of forces you to work a lot. You’re somewhere without your usual friends, family, or environment. I think anyone really trying to buckle down and push through a 90 day work barrier can benefit from a little isolation. Alright, this email is long as hell, so that’s all I got for you. Follow these 7 lessons, you will never be broke. - Daniel @ Client Ascension Email 3 Subject Line: a5 wagyu offers Preview Line: 🥩🥩🥩🥩🥩🥩🥩🥩 Hello my friends, Hope your week has been profitable and filled with money. I've got some good shit to share, so let's get into it. Picture this… You’re at a steakhouse and your order just arrived. A5 Wagyu Ribeye. Mashed Potatoes. Grilled Asparagus. Lobster Mac N’ Cheese. Think about this… If you remove the Mashed Potatoes, is the meal ruined? No. What about the Asparagus? No. And the Lobster Mac N’ Cheese? Probably not, so let’s go with no. But if you remove the steak from the entire dinner, you’re just eating sides. There’s no protein other than a few bits of lobster here and there. Nobody wants that. But what if the Mashed Potatoes suck? Is the meal ruined? Same goes for the Asparagus and the Mac N’ Cheese... All three of these parts of your meal could be awful… But if the steak is AMAZING and tastes insane, everything else can suck, and it’d still be a good meal. The steak pretty much makes or breaks the meal, right? Well, good ser, your offer should be just like that. You could have an awful landing page and VSL… But if your offer is THE SHIT, it literally doesn’t matter. If you can strip away all the bells and whistles from the offer, and it still stands strong, then congratulations, you've hit the jackpot. Remember, the whole idea of what you're selling should be to make your service so valuable… And so useful… That your prospects can't help but make an impulse decision to work with you. So next time you're cooking up an offer, keep this in mind. (See what I did there?) You want to produce world class, 5-star michelin restaurant level offers… Not backyard food truck type shit. - Daniel @ Client Ascension Email 4 Subject Line: want the top g offer? Preview Line: we can help When you look around your market, do you feel like you're offering the same thing as everyone else? If you feel that’s the case, here’s a question for you… Why should potential clients choose you over someone else? If you don’t have an answer to that, you’re pretty much guaranteeing your eventual failure. The only way you’re going to stand out is if you define your unique mechanism. Your unique mechanism is your signature strategy that separates you from the competition. If you want to find that separating factor, here’s all you need to do… 1. List out everything you do for a client 2. For each deliverable, talk about HOW you do it 3. See if a pattern emerges That’s how I would identify a couple different mechanisms you could use… But want to know how to get a POPPING mechanism that immediately has people saying, “Yeah I need that” when you explain your offer to them? Run through that 3-part process with me. Everyone who joins Client Ascension gets on a small group call with me and a few other people who recently joined. The calls usually don’t exceed 4-5 people, and we focus the entirety of the call on helping everyone definite their offer and the unique mechanism. It might seem like an overwhelming task, but I’m telling you, I’ve worked with A LOT of offers… It’s not hard for me to spot where someone can easily differentiate themselves from the market. A simple back and forth dialogue can reveal a goldmine that could potentially multiply your revenue. And that's just the beginning of the INSANE value that Client Ascension offers. This one was an absolute banger, both Nick and I said it was a good one after we wrapped up. (I dropped a lot of bombs) We discussed the following topics: * What a hot girl offer is and how this simple concept can change the entire way you view your online service business * Why some offers are just so much easier to sell than other offers and how you can stop swimming upstream on sales calls to close a client * The #1 thing that pretty much 99% of freelancers and agency owners DON’T get about unique mechanisms * How to ACTUALLY create a unique mechanism that’s so good you immediately are separated from all of your competition * The fallacy of “I have so much work to do” and why you really just need to grow up and stop being a whiny baby bitch * Quite a bit of sauce on copywriting and direct response stuff that any business owner can use to not be poor Would highly recommend saving this video to your watch later and giving it a listen on a walk, while driving, or doing something along those lines. Or just watch it now if you’re based. >> Click here to watch the new unlisted interview - Daniel @ Client Ascension
