Subject Line: Why People Respond
Preview Line: this is actually pretty simple
Sometimes you need to zoom out.
Whenever you look at something in granular detail, you forget the big picture of HOW you actually get the result you’re looking for.
A perfect “for instance” to explain this is in the realm of sales and cold outreach.
If you understand WHY someone buys, it’s pretty easy to reverse engineer the perfect pitch and the perfect email.
This is pretty simple:
People buy services when they believe the service will get them a return on their investment (ROI).
Meaning, “I pay $5,000 for this and I’ll get back $15,000 in return.”
Or another example could be…
“I’ll pay $5,000 for this, it will save me 10 hours a week, I can use that freed up time to focus on more outreach.”
The higher the ROI, whether it’s direct or indirect, the more you’ll be able to charge.
I think a lot of dudes just price their services based off of what they feel like the market will pay for it, based on some “gut feeling” of sorts.
Truly dumb..
If you don’t provide a high ROI, indirectly or directly, you’re either going to run into…
A) Low response rate on outbound
B) Low conversion rate on sales calls
C) Low client retention rate
All three of these are essentially a one way ticket to you being POOR.
The goal should be that your clients CAN'T LIVE without you.
The thought of them having to go elsewhere to have someone to do your service for them is absolutely asanine.
So essentially:
If you just focus on crafting offers that have a disproportionate return on investment that works in the client's favor, you’re set.

I think that most people struggling to scale their agency have…
A) A Hollywood-like perception of sales calls
B) An anxiety-ridden perception of sales calls
Essentially, they believe that a sales call is this Wolf of Wall Street thing…
They have to use all of these advanced tactics, questions, tonalities, and so on…
And I’m not going to sit here and say that stuff isn’t helpful…
Yet I will tell you they’re entirely unnecessary.
(I’ll show you why here in a moment.)
The other crowd is afraid of rejection and it causes them to sabotage their lead generation.
The thought of someone saying “no” to them on a sales call is terrifying, and so they never actually do the outreach necessary to scale.
Not smart.
Both of these instances are just a sign that you’re overcomplicating the entire sales process.
Sales calls are incredibly simple, they’re really just a form of data collection and a presentation of an offer.
It looks like this:
1. What are the problems
2. What is the ideal
3. What are the hurdles
4. Here’s the offer
The first part of a sales call, after you break the ice, is LITERALLY just asking them questions about the problems they're facing.
The questions should be HOLISTIC, meaning they address the entirety of the company.
So if you help with lead generation…
Do NOT just ask questions about leads.
Ask them questions about the sales team, the customer retention, etc. etc.
You want to collect AS MUCH DATA AS POSSIBLE.
This is the ammo that you use later on in the call.
The next part of the call is getting clear on where they’re trying to go.
Essentially, you want to know what the business owners goals are, that way when you present your product you can relate it to your service.
From there you need to figure out WHY they haven’t solved the problem yet and what’s holding them back.
Holy shit, this is probably the most important part of the entire sales call because you are basically getting them to admit…
“AH! I CANT SOLVE THIS PROBLEM MYSELF! TAKE MY MONEY!”
Well maybe not like that, but you get the point.
What you’re looking for is an answer that relates to “I don’t know how to do this” or “I’d like to hire an expert so I can get a result faster” or “I don’t have time to do this myself.”
So after all of this, you now…
- Know their problems
- Understand their goals
- Know why they can’t achieve those goals
Ezpz for you to now take your offer and show it solves their problems, gets them closer to their goals, and then helps them get over the hurdles they’ve already experienced.
Do this right, and you’re going to close deals.
Super simple.
Don’t overcomplicate it.

Subject Line: Hidden Objections
Preview Line: sneaky sneaky objections
Have you ever asked your girlfriend why she was upset?
And then you later find out that the reason she tells you is actually not the real reason?
Yeah, objections on sales calls are a lot like that.
If you don’t understand this and how to overcome objections, you’re going to close a fraction of the deals that come your way.
MAYBE 10% of your sales calls will not have any objections.
90% will have an objection, and maybe 30% of that 90% will only have 1 objection.
You see, whenever you’re at the closing part of the deal you have to understand that hidden objections are VERY REAL.
Meaning, they say X objection, but they’re not telling you about Y and Z.
You can handle objection X flawlessly, but because you didn’t address Y and Z…
There is still some MAJOR resistance to pulling the trigger.
This is a super simple fix.
Let’s say the prospect says, “yeah I’m not sure I’m comfortable spending that much”
What you need to do is ISOLATE that objection.
So you would say back, “Ok I get that, outside of price, is there anything else holding you back from moving forward with me on this?”
That shit works like BUTTER.
Because what happens is the prospect will either say…
“No it’s just price” and then you go on to handle that objection.
Or they’ll reveal to you the other objections they have, which you then can handle one at a time.
Objections are inevitable, they’re going to pop up, and the whole point of the first part of the call…
(Which is all about data collection)
Is to then use all of the ammo you collected to show them that their objection is entirely irrelevant.
So if their objection is price…
You show them how much money they’re leaving on the table.
If their objection is time…
You show them how this will save them a bunch of time and you make it simple to get started.
So on and so forth.
How simple is that?
So simple.

This week we’ve talked a lot about sales.
Want to know what makes sales incredibly simple?
1. A disgusting amount of qualified leads
2. A shit ton of booked calls
3. A killer offer
When you join Client Ascension, we’re going to help you get all three of those ducks in a row…
AND we’re going to SIGNIFICANTLY improve your ability to close on the phone.
Here’s how…
First and foremost, you’re going to get on a group onboarding call with me where I help you get clarity on your offer.
This will make it EASY for you to know exactly how to position your offer for the maximum level of success.
Why?
Because I know what offers work based on the hundreds of agency owners we’ve worked with.
From there, you’re going to get credits to ListKit which you can then use to get VERIFIED leads for your offer.[a]
You won’t have to duct-tape lead gen softwares together and spend unnecessary amounts of cash, you only pay for verified emails.
Then from there, you’ll have the exact step by step (and up to date) process on how to set up the systems which will serve as your cold email machine.
Christian Bonnier, one of the co-founders of Client Ascension, will help you craft your cold emails…
And then you’ll plug those into the system you’ve built, and calls will come in on auto-pilot.
There are sales training calls each week with Nick Abraham (Lead Gen), David Jacob (Sales Q&A), Dylan Rich (Appointment Setting Mastery), Ori Geshury (Art Of Response Handling), and Conor Sunderland (Sales Q&A).
All of these guys will show you how to improve your ability to sell your offer, how to handle objections, and how to remove all your selling blocks that prevent you from closing deals.
Essentially, we’re going to help you sell way more services to clients…
And we GUARANTEE you’ll add $10,000 a month to your agency if you just did what we tell you to do.
If you don’t achieve that, we will literally refund you every single penny.
If you want to close more deals, you need to join Client Ascension.
