Subject Line: I made a law Preview Line: follow this law or you will be poor There’s a law called Parkinson’s law. It essentially states that work expands to fill the time allotted for its completion. So if you assign something to take 4 hours to complete… It will take 4 hours to complete. I’m positive you’ve seen this play out in real time with your business. Well, I’ve got a new law for you… It’s very creatively named Fazio’s Law. Here’s what it states… THE PERCEIVED DIFFICULTY LEVEL THAT YOU ASSIGN TO A TASK WILL DETERMINE THE DIFFICULTY LEVEL YOU EXPERIENCE. So if you think something on a scale of 1-10 is going to be an 8 in terms of difficulty level… It will be an 8 for you. HOWEVER… You can use this law in your favor because if you assume something will be easy, it will in fact be easy. Now you might be thinking to yourself that this bends the fabric of reality, and here’s the thing… IT 100% DOES. I need to tell some of you MFers this so you can truly understand it… My entire life has been breaking and piercing through the fabric of reality. We average about $400k a month with Client Ascension, that is not normal. ListKit got to a $1M ARR within the first few months of launching it, that is not normal. I was able to achieve all of this with my team and none of us (besides a partner in ListKit) are above the age of 30… This is not normal. The reason why all of this has been easy is because I REFUSE to say it’s difficult. It’s challenging, yes, but that’s what a lot of you fail to understand in your life… CHALLENGING = GROWTH DIFFICULT = HARD The words you use to explain your reality are what will shape your reality… That’s why you need to hammer this home into your head… SAY IT’S EASY.
