These Two Things Exponentially Scale Your Business This is one of the most important, yet often overlooked, elements for scaling any type of company… It’s not a marketing or sales tactic… In fact, I personally believe this is what makes or breaks your ability to successfully scale your business… It’s simple, yet most people don’t do it, and that’s why most people fail to scale. Here it is in plain and simple English: If you don’t design your community and environment intentionally, you’re setting yourself up for failure. There’s a subset of entrepreneurs who believe they can rely on sheer willpower and hard work to make their dreams happen… But after being in business for over a decade, having grown my own company to 7 figures and helped countless other companies scale up to 7 and 8 figures… I can tell you that the “lone wolf” idea is total bullshit. Here’s the truth: Achievement never happens in isolation. Like a plant, you only grow when planted in fertile soil, with plenty of sunlight and water. When you surround yourself with toxic people and environments that do nothing but create fear, doubt, and shame… You’re taking the plant out of the good environment, and essentially flushing it down the toilet. That’s why if you want to rapidly level up in your business and life, you don’t have any choice but to curate an empowering environment and community. These two factors are what provide the invisible lift that allows your efforts to take flight. And that’s what I want to show you today - how to curate the right environment and the right community around you to ensure your success. Let’s dive in… ________________ There’s a saying that says: “If you want to go fast, go alone. But if you want to go far, go together.” Building a tribe of like-minded peers who inspire you, hold you accountable, and help manifest your biggest visions is critical. In fact, I would say it’s non-negotiable. Community acceleration is real. But most people leave this to chance and convenience, passively accepting whoever happens to be around them. Don’t fall into this trap. You need to curate your community circle intentionally. I’ve intentionally curated my own community by joining mastermind groups with other entrepreneurs… Attending networking events to connect with people at or above my level in business… And even going to industry conferences which are really just a big party that everyone goes to so they can unwind for a weekend and meet new people. Immersing yourself in these communities does more than provide practical support. It shifts your identity to who you need to become to achieve your goals. You absorb the mindsets, skills, and drive of those around you… But that’s only IF those people are further ahead than you. The worst thing you can do as a high 6-figure business owner is to surround yourself with absolute beginners. If you want to hit 7-figures, you need to be around people who are at that level or even higher. But it’s not just about showing up to events that are filled with these people. You need to engage actively. Share your wins and struggles. Ask for help. Offer value. The more you give, the more you gain from your community. It’s as simple as that. Another thing you can do to help pluck some weeds from the garden is to audit your existing relationships. Do your friends and family members uplift you? Or do they drain your energy with negativity, destructive habits, and limiting beliefs? This sounds harsh, but certain relationships can keep you stuck because they reinforce an outdated version of yourself. A lot of people are hesitant to cut these people out, but I’m telling you, the crabs in the bucket are real. If you want to grow personally and financially, which always go hand in hand, you need to cut these people off entirely or significantly reduce the amount of time you spend around them Trust me, you can love people and let them go. When you start finding friends, mentors, and coaches who see your potential and won’t let you play small… You’re much more likely to outgrow those people who no longer align with who you’re becoming. But cultivating a community of positive thinkers and people just as ambitious as you is just one piece of the puzzle… The next piece is your physical environment - your office, home, car, and so on This space has a subtle but profound impact on your mindset and motivation. Simply put, your space trains your state. That’s why you must design your environment consciously to align energy and identity for peak performance. What you surround yourself with, you become. Make your space inspiring, productive, and sacred. If your environment is filled with garbage, more than likely your mind is also filled with garbage. And I’m not just talking about your physical space, I’m also talking about your digital space too. I network a ton online and I curate the living hell out of my feed. I don’t follow anyone with a loser mindset, and anyone who is constantly causing drama or spreading negativity immediately gets unfollowed. I don’t let those people around me physically or digitally. Your state of being is YOUR responsibility… Just like how no one is going to build your business for you, the same applies to the people you’re around on a daily basis… No one is going to curate it for you. When you start to obsess over curating every aspect of your external world for exponential success, you start to create unbelievable levels of momentum for yourself. You construct a greenhouse where aligned thoughts, actions, and breakthroughs can flourish. This is what the most successful 0.01% do. While most get caught up in the busyness and chaos of life, the people who really get ahead invest heavily in their environments - physical, social, digital, and mental. The business owners who have successfully scaled their businesses to insane levels are all intentional with who they’re around and what they’re doing. People will say you’ve changed, and that’s fine. You need to be obsessive about this type of stuff if you actually want to achieve unreasonable levels of success in your life. Your future self and your future business will thank you.
