"This Is Who I Am, So This Is What I Do."

Currently in Las Vegas, posted up at an event that my guy Cody Jefferson is going to be speaking at.
Cody and I are working together on a project that’s going to get him and his message in front of way more people.
He currently only works with really high net worth individuals who can afford his $100k 1on1 coaching but we’re working to roll out something that’s in the lower price point range.
So I’m super excited about that.
I’m kind of past the whole phase of writing for anything or anyone, there are so many scummy people in my industry…
I’m done selling my skillset to people who frankly don’t deserve it.
And I don’t mean that in a “holier than thou” sense…
I just mean some of these guys sell garbage, they get garbage results for their clients, but they’re just good at marketing.
I don’t want to work for you.
A lot of what people don’t realize is that marketing is the science of changing someone’s mind…
And I think when you get really good at this skill set you have to choose which path you’re going to walk…
Do you want to convince people that they need useless shit?
Or do you want to convince people that it’s time to change their life for the better?
What would god want you to do? Ya know? It’s a huge responsibility that I’ve started to take VERY seriously.
People are going to spend their money somewhere…
They might as well spend it somewhere that allows them to self-actualize themselves into a better version of themselves.
And that’s why I’m working with Cody, with him, I know a few things…
- He’s got that “it” factor
- His message and story are amazing and impactful
- He can sell water to a fish
More green flags than Saudi Arabian parade, that’s what you want in a client.
I’ve been following him for about 2 years now…
I’ve always loved his message of helping good men become better by giving them the answers to difficult questions that money can’t solve.
Cody is in my opinion the truest intimation of pure alpha energy that I’ve encountered in my life thus far.
Physically developed, masculine, smart, charming, kind, and he just cares about people and making an impact.
A lot of people think an alpha is this brash loud dude whose every other word in a sentence is fuck…
It’s like that guy Dan Peña who’s just yelling at everyone, insulting them to their face, saying how they’re poor worthless wastes of human potential, and so on…
That’s not alpha.
Hot take, but that’s extreme beta energy.
One thing I liked that Cody told me is that most people don’t know this, but in a lion pack, the alpha lion never roars.
It’s always the male lions below him that are roaring to challenge him.
The alpha lion just yawns at all the betas like, “that’s all ya got?”
Alpha is a level of confidence where you don’t need to show everyone how confident you are by being the loudest in the room.
People just know.
One of the things I also really respect about Cody is the consistency he carries from his brand to who he is…
For example, there was a pre-event cocktail mixer last night that was going till like 1 AM, but Cody and I left pretty early and were in bed by 10 PM and up at 5 AM to hit a workout.
He’s got this line, “This is who I am, so this is what I do.”
The identity and the actions don’t change based on where he’s at or the circumstances…
He is who he is.
I really do enjoy being around energy like that…
It’s rare.
And what’s rare is valuable.
All I can say is that I have an opportunity to work with him because I was in the right place at the right time…
And more than anything god brings me blessings in my life for favoring him and doing my best to walk his path.
I’m no perfect man, that’s for sure…
But I do my best to hold myself to a standard in line with perfection.
