Time For A New Chapter

Feels really good to be back home.

I honestly love the space I’ve created for myself here in Arizona…

But, I do think it’s time to wrap up this chapter and move somewhere new.

So more than likely at the end of my lease in 6 months I’m going to move to Austin, TX.

My reasoning is pretty simple…

I’ve lived in Arizona my whole life, it’s an amazing state, it’s absolutely beautiful, and the weather is great outside of the 4 months of hellfire we have every year.

But I think it’s time to try something new…

I was in between moving to Miami and moving to Austin, but the more I visited Miami the more I realized it’s a good weekend city for me but not a good home base.

There are a lot of good people, and oh my god the food is amazing…

But overall the city is pretty surface level and I’m not sure I would enjoy the dating scene out there all that much.

I personally feel like I would really enjoy Austin because that city just has so much soul.

There are tons of them hippy folk who are very woo-woo spiritual, and I like those people more than the ones who are only materialistic.

At least they can hold a conversation.

You can overdo anything, and I totally think there’s a level of woo that’s kind of annoying…

But when I think about what I want in a friend circle and a partner, it’s people who are spiritually minded and growth-minded.

Both of which I found a ton of in Austin…

I’ve spent a lot of time thinking specifically about what I want from a partner…

There are a lot of green flags I’m looking for, some of which I can expand on in a later post…

But for the most part, I want to go where the probability of finding that woman is pretty high and Austin seems like that spot.

I’ve already picked the building I’m going to be staying at, and I’m currently working on writing up a visualization exercise for myself to create the perfect day for myself 6 months from now.

Every day until that lease is up I’m going to take a portion of my time to really visualize the story I’ve written up.

We become what we think about, so why not think about exactly what kind of reality you want to live?

Highly recommend doing that for yourself.

I’m writing my 6-month vision currently and my 10-year vision will come after that.

I think it’s smart to commit to the 6-month vision and then continue to tweak the 10-year vision as you move forward in life.

That’s pretty much all I got for you today, just playing catch up on some work so I don’t have some insane insight to share with you.

Just figured I would share what’s going on in my head.

All the best!
